Thank you, I just hope to find anything that I can do where my disabilities don’t interfere, and that I’m qualified to do.

It gets real tricky. Gender discrimination is illegal while transgender discrimination is legal in Ft. Collins. Here in Denver both are against the law. If the HRC can pass ENDA then GLBT people will be covered nation wide. It doesn’t matter much as I’m not sufficiently interested in the position to take it to law. The way he walked in, out, back in, nearly left again, then asked if I was CJ made it very clear to me he wasn’t expecting a woman, I agree the trans part is probably irrelevant. If he did peg me as a trans person then he has more contact with the subculture than he wants to admit.

I hope the questions I hit him with will make him decide that he doesn’t really want to work there either.

Yes, trans protection is very spotty across the entire country. I’m only protected in Denver and Boulder, in the rest of the state I’m fair game. There have been cases where a trans person has been murdered and the perpetrator has gotten off because the victim was trans. Yes, I’m careful.

Hey, this is Amy! *waves* I changed my journal name -- why is explained on my journal. The new name is "meowvatar". Please friend me back!

Also, C.J., could you e-mail Sue and let her know? Her new journal is completely friends-only and I have no other way of reaching her. Thanks!
