A Kindred Spirit: Whither Lotion Dispensers?
I was talking soap dispensers with a coworker. He complained that with all of the exhortation to wash hands, the company doesn't provide hand lotion dispensers everywhere. In the dry, winter months, the skin suffers when washed too often. Some buildings, by virtue of being primarily lab space, get lotion dispensers. The decommissioned building next door, packed with chemistry labs, had them. The first floor of our building has them for the model shop employees, but he wasn't able to get any traction getting them installed on the second floor, which is entirely office space and conference rooms. I suggested finding lotions in the office supplies catalog, but the closest thing is sanitizer with moisturizers. The quest for proper hand care is never-ending.
