Shopping Victory
Some weeks ago, I got an email from the place where I buy jeans. They were offering $20 off a $75 purchase, expiring tonight. I wanted more jeans, so I hit the web site to use the online coupon Monday night. From previous visits, I expected to be paying $48 per pair. I'd abandoned the carts before because it was hard to find something that would bridge the gap between $48 and $75 without going too far over. Monday night, though, the jeans were on sale for $38! $38 times two is $76! Knock twenty off, and suddenly I'm a very happy guy. I placed the order. As if that wasn't enough to be self-congratulatory about, tonight, I got the next coupon: $15 off of $100. Yes!
