You know, the ancient Greek thing with the questions . . .
I was lunching today with mab42 and his friend stebert today. As an undergrad, stebert would try to help fellow students in the form of questions instead of answers.
Knowing this was a technique favored by one of those ancient Greek philosophers, I asked "The Platonic Method?" I hadn't been joking, but it provoked a big laugh.
mab42 corrected me: "The Socratic Method."
"Oh, right. What about the Aristocratic Method? The Plutonic Method?"
