It's Teachin' Time, but Where are the Students?

Well, my first class is supposed to be starting right now. I'm the only one here. D'oh. One possibility is that the general session ran late. Another possibility is that nobody wants to take this class. That's fine. I understand. The course I really want to be teaching is the one tomorrow. Worse comes to worse, I'll spend the afternoon updating web sites, writing Wikipedia entries, et c.

The classroom I'm using is loaded with spiffy looking computers, but I don't have an account on any of them. D'oh! I guess I never talked to any of the real support folks who could've told me that. Fortunately, I anticipated this and brought a laptop. I am truly fortunate that there's a working wireless network connection in here, because all of my class materials are on the web.

Hmm . . . class was supposed to start fifteen minutes ago, and still nobody here. Maybe the evening class will be packed. Ooh! Looks like ddmerillat and I are going to play some online Boggle while I wait. Whee!

boggle, games, powwow, barbershop
