Good day, Rare Pairing Community Members! Just a few updates to bring to you all today.
First, we have updated the old (very outdated!) community rules framework and clarified many of the vague points in the rules. This rule update was just posted and is in effect from this moment on.

Second, we have also put up solid rules for the Weekly Requests. This has been something that's been sitting on our modly back-burner for a long time as we worked out what needed firming up and what we wanted to keep more casual. Weekly Requests are still a casual affair, though, with just a few requirements.

Third, we are in the process of revising the Banned and Watched pairings lists. If you have suggestions for pairings that should be added to either list (banned pairings are pairings that are very common in the fandom, watched pairings are ones that are gaining popularity but haven't caught on like wildfire yet), please leave a comment with those suggestions. Also, if you feel that something should be removed from the lists, leave a comment telling us why.
Lastly, our next montly challenge will be in October. Suggestions for a challenge theme would be excellent, unless everyone wants to do a "traditional" Halloween theme.
