Title: It's Never Intentional
Author: skylar_matthews
Prompt: TF: Prime, Airachnid/Arcee, 'Long overdue'
Rating: R
Word Count:
Comments/Warnings: Not quite sure where this came from but the bunny attacked my mind and demanded to be written so here we are. This is my first TF fic and I've kinda mixed using and not using some of the terminology because I'm new to the series. Set post "Partners" and possibly PWP (also a first, though I might write a sequel/continuation using groundwork set here.)

She hadn't meant to get captured all those years ago.
She hadn't meant to be the reason Tailgate was killed.
She had meant to get revenge.
She hadn't meant to miss and only stun her target.
She hadn't meant to leave her alive long enough for Optimus to notice and decide to take her captive.
She was going to get her revenge.

Arcee stalked through the inner corridors of the base searching for the the right room. The mission had ended hours ago but she'd taken a bad hit and been ordered by Optimus to get treated immediately upon returning. Perhaps he was worried what she would do to their prisoner, and after the Starscream incident she couldn't blame him logically, but this wasn't a matter of logic. This wound had festered for a long time and only cure was termination.

It had seemed like Ratchet was working in slow motion to patch her up, but rather than giving her time to calm down, those hours had only served to enrage her more. After finally coming so close, so very close, no one would deny her the right to avenge Tailgate.

The door was unmarked, when she finally found it, and Arcee knew the room beyond would be unremarkable as well. There had never been need for a cell for prisoners before now and Optimus would want to keep her far away from the common area so the kids' safety wasn't at risk. Hence the unmarked room as well, in case they went exploring deep in the base again.

A quick scan revealed only one life signal within so the blue bot opened the door and slipped in quickly. As the door settled shut behind her, Arcee had already released the blade hidden in her arm. Her blaster would do the job quicker but it felt more personal this way.

There was little light but her optics quickly adjusted and Arcee moved towards the sole figure seated in the middle of the floor. The words fell from her vocal processor before she even knew she was thinking them. "This has been long overdue."

Purple optics flickered up to meet her own and Arcee hesitated, her blade hovering in the air just waiting to come down for a deadly blow. "Arcee," the smooth voice taunted. "I was wondering when you'd come. I almost got impatient."

For a moment all was still, then Arcee started to strike and a flurry of motion erupted in the near darkness. An astrosecond later, Arcee found herself pinned to the far wall, held tight in Airachnid's grip. "How..." she questioned, clearly shocked the other femme was free of the cuffs.

"Oh you pick up a few tricks when you spend as long as a mercenary as I have." Her voice was all taunting.

"Well?" Arcee pressed. Rage overwhelmed any fear but she couldn't break free so it all rolled into a reckless temper. "Just get on with it already if you plan to terminate me too."

Airachnid laughed. "I don't want you dead," she explained. "I would have just ended you when you didn't have the information I wanted if that was all I wanted." She fixed her gaze on the blue bot. "Do you know why I terminated your precious partner instead?"

An icy glare met that question but the Decepticon went on as though it didn't affect her. "I want you Arcee."

The Autobot femme started to speak, but was cut off when Airachnid pressed their facial plates together, stealing a kiss. A small gas escaped Arcee without her notice as an unfamiliar feeling coursed through her.

"I see you enjoyed that." The low voice crooned right in her audials. "I can make it feel even better..."

Another kiss claimed Arcee's focus so Airachnid could release one of her arms and explore more of her form. More soft gasps came as her touch wandered down the other's frame, searching out and finding delicate seams and hidden sensitivity point. One set of cables, just barely exposed at all on the inside of Arcee's leg, resulted in a particularly good reaction; causing her to buck forward against Airachnid and reminding her the Autobot wasn't the only one enjoying this.

Parting their facial plating for just a moment, Airachnid spoke. "Open up."

Lost in the sensation, Arcee barely heard her. It had been a long time since she was last with another and it had never felt like this. With Tailgate the relationship had only been starting and they were both new to intimacy, making their few attempts strangely awkward. It had been easier with Cliffjumper, both of them more practiced, but their coupling had been one based more in convenience and short-lived desire rather than the emotions she'd shared with Tailgate. This, here and now, was better than either. An experienced hand that knew where and how to seek out all her most sensitive points, daring without fumbling but gentle touches that showed actual care. If she had the force of mind to think about any of that Arcee would have been amazed.

Instead she was soaring on the heights, unconcerned even with how nosy she was being, until Airachnid pulled back. It took an extreme amount of concentration to even notice were spoken. Too much to actually know what they were. "What...?"

Optics onlining again as her chestplate was softly tapped and Arcee was surprised to find one arm had been freed. "You need to let me in," the other's voice said and if her head had been clearer Arcee might have noticed the mirror desire in those purple optics.

Attempting a nod, the blue bot moved to comply, stumbling momentarily with only one hand to work the latch. When it did open, a pulsing light blue glow filled the room, washing over Airachnid who just stared for a moment.

Without warning, she reached out and touched the exposed spark, gently caressing the edges. Arcee's attempted protests instantly became a breathless gasp as a completely new pleasure surged through her entire being.

As Arcee reveled in an unknown sensation, Airachnid took the time to open her own chestplates. The glow from her own spark chamber amplified the light, allowing her to see every visible detail of the other femme.

She waited, watching as Arcee recovered, before moving in close again though she stopped far short of touching. Both their sparks strained in their chambers but the distance was too much and the pressure that wasn't quite pain increased in counterpoint to the pure pleasure. The two sensations mixed in a way that was new but not unpleasant, although it wasn't a release.

Arcee wasn't having that and took advantage of her free arm now to pull the other close, stealing a kiss of her own just before their sparks met.

The effect was immediate. Instantly a connection opened between them and each bot's sensations spread through into the other, both femmes already so close they hit overload almost simultaneously. With just that first surge of energy. Only the wall behind Arcee kept them standing as the sensations rolled through their systems.

Airachnid's first conscious thought following that was surprise at finding herself collapsed against Arcee, who, to her own surprise, had let her arms fall to help hold up the other. Collecting herself, the Decepticon moved first. Standing on her own, she closed her chest, then started to walk across the room.

"W-what are you doing?" Arcee managed the words on her second try and Airachnid turned to regard her a moment.

"Come and find me again when you want more," she finally said. Her tone had resumed it's usual smooth taunt. "I don't plan on going anywhere for a while."

Arcee watched in shock as the 'Con replaced the cuffs and settled back onto the floor before she finally remembered to close her own chestplates. She was at the door before she'd thought to move. Her mind had been blown at the whole situation, now that she could think it through, and all she wanted was to get out of there and make some sense of it all.

As the door slid shut behind her, Arcee could still hear Airachnid's voice.

"You were right Arcee. That was very long overdue."

She hadn't meant to get captured all those years ago.
She hadn't known her spark was still captive.
She no longer knew what she wanted...

New tag for a new author? Sorry if I missed any too, there's a lot to shift through.
