BW Cheetor

((Attention: This post takes place before the Medbay get together in Bluestreak’s post and after Cheetor and TFA Swoop went supply hunting for G1 Swoop and gave the stuff to him. Sorry if I confuse you, it’s just I’ve wanted to do this post for a while, but I didn’t have the time or plot bunny, heh heh xD;; Thanks for  reading~!!))

It was a slightly cloudy day, with the sky a whitish-gray. The air was cold, but not uncomfortably so, just enough to make you think twice about staying outside for too long. Cheetor woke up from a pleasant recharge after he and the younger Swoop had returned from their errand-run for Medic Swoop. It was nice to finally have a place to stay in again; he had been sleeping in the woods so long, he was starting to think his programming was going to be overcome by his cheetah instincts. Rising carefully from his curled up position on top of Swoop, he stretched and shook himself from his remaining drowsiness. As he wandered into the “living room” area of the tree house, his optics fell on his newly acquired guitar. Smiling brightly, he went over and picked it up along with the practice book. If there was ever an opportunity to practice and learn how to play, it was now. Leaping out one of the windows nearest a tree limb, Cheetor sat down and brought out his stringed instrument and opened the book. Thank Primus it had everything to understand the little symbols and lines that comprised the music. He was just about to start when…

BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!

*sigh* Of all the times to bother me, it had to be now?? *he glares in irritation up at the white-gray sky* “Music” and “Gratitude”, huh? At least their appropriate ones this time…*he mumbles and contemplates on how to answer them*

Well, I’ve always seen music as a way to communicate feelings, whether good or bad. I used to hear these songs back home that were just instruments, no vocals, and they always made me feel…something. *grimaces slightly as he tries to clarify that* I mean, sometimes they made me cry, sometimes they made me smile. Other times they just made me think. It could’ve been anything, like: “What were they thinking or feeling when they played that?” or “Why did they use that sound instead of the one before?” Just random stuff. *shrugs lightly, then smiles softly*

There were also songs of gratitude, my favorite being this old hymn to Primus my Carrier used to hum and sing to me when I was a sparkling and a youngling. I can’t really remember much, it was so long ago…*his tone turns wistful and a little regretful* It was about how Primus gave up his life to grant us, his creations, freedom and safety from his evil brother, Unicron *shudders slightly at the name. He may be a grown mech, but he still had a healthy…”respect” for the Unmaker* It was a song to thank Him and assure Him that his sacrifice would not be in vain or forgotten. My Carrier told me to sing it whenever I received something good: a present, a good grade…a friend. *smiles wistfully* I’d sing it now, if I had the chance…if I remembered. There’s so much I’m grateful for here, my friends both Swoops, Sari, Prowl, Jazz, Sideburn, even Waspinator. *chuckles* And my family, especially my family: Bluestreak, who’s been like a brother to me and the closest I’ve come to being near my Carrier again; and Optimus, who’s been a mentor, like the creator I never had.

*smiles contently* Yeah…a lot to thank Him for…*starts to idly strum his mostly forgotten guitar, not noticing he was actually playing the song he was talking about. But he didn’t notice, all he could see in his processor’s eye was the smiling faces of his friends and family, his Carrier included*

(OOC: Open post~! The Kitty is currently up in the tree, not easily visible, but easily audible to any mech or femme walking by the Treehouse~ X3 Feel free to stop and listen, or interrupt the Kitty~! Oh, and I DO have TFA and G1 Swoops’ players’ permition to post here~)
