So this is NOT Christmas?!
It's been a tad quiet for a few days so I'm injecting some more Bunnies.
A small list from me just with big fat bunnies.
1. Megatron kidnaps the son of Optimus and Elita-1. But he’s not just happy with using their offspring as leverage, that would be too easy. He knows there will always be someone to take Optimus Prime’s place as leader so has an alternative and far more cruel plan in mind.
He leads them to believe he killed their child and even hands over a child’s body with a dead spark, but the body is a duplicate replacement and the Spark that of another murdered child put into it.
He raises the child himself, manipulating them, making them believe his parents have abandoned him. Megatron grooms the child to be a perfect Decepticon.
Many, many, many years later with many upgrades the child is no longer in a recognisable body and his mind is so fractured and altered he doesn’t even consciously remember his parents anymore. So on the battle field, parent fights child, child fights parent and yet neither know who the other really is.
2. Megatron had a child before the war, and as the tyrant arose in power and insanity his son felt more and more disgusted by what he saw in his father. So much so in fact, he leaves Megatron’s side to join the Autobot ranks.
He never told anyone that he was the son of Megatron in fear of what could happen and that he may be thrown from the faction for suspicion of being a spy.
Megatron knows which of the Autobots is his son but so far has not made it public knowledge. His son doesn’t know why his father is yet to say anything or even acknowledge any connection between them, and worries constantly his terrible secret will be revealed.
3. Let your conscience be your guide.
A. Morality is subjective. For Transformers it is harder to see the Grey in the Black and White. Boundaries in the war are clearly defined. Decepticon vs. Autobot. Good intentions vs. Bad intentions.
When they are sucked into a human war they find their idea’s shattered and themselves confused.
Both sides of the human war proclaim to be on the righteous side. That they are fighting for a noble cause. The Transformers can’t tell which side is correct as all they see are the same atrocities and kindness’s being performed from both ends.
B.
Cybertronian’s were built with logical CPU’s, they have difficulty in conceptualising morals and emotions. It took a great leap even just to learn the art and advantages of transforming.
Through studying alien cultures a group of Scientists learn more about the intricacies of adaptable thought and the malleability of consciousness’ .
They want to learn more, become more, so set about creating a line of Transformers capable of a more non-linear thought.
The hope is these new Cybertronian’s will teach them to think outside of the box.
The Decepticons of course don’t want to change and outright refuse the concept.
The Autobots however embrace the possibilities of such creations.
Due to requiring more complex CPU’S and seen as teachers and helpers, rather then warriors, the new builds have to be especially designed for optimum efficiency. So the Scientists build a smaller, more compact Transformer and name them affectionately as…. Mini-bots.
(And thus I solve why there are only Autobot mini-bots.)
C. After Pinnochio has discovered himself, Jiminy Cricket is now a free agent once more. A Conscience Guide however needs to have someone to guide, so he picks a Cybertronian.

Wreck-gar has everything in that backpack of his. This includes another shard of the Allspark, that has attached itself to a… small telescope.

7. Phantom car phenomena is real. The Transformers are already on Earth.
8. 2007.
Barricade is now a Phantom car. During the fight with Bumblebee he died and it was his ghost that was there during the motorway chase.
He now haunts the roads. He sometimes follows one of the Autobots but he never interacts and always vanishes when they try to confront him.
They can’t tell if he is real, a ghost or a figment of their CPU’s.
9. There was a man at the side of the road.
This was one of those eponymous hitchhikers, he thought.
Giving the human a lift to the destination of his choice wasn’t much of a hardship for himself, so he pulled over and allowed the human in the passenger seat.
The male spoke about his problems and why he was hitchhiking. Something about a lost love. The com distracted him for a moment. He answered the question and returned to the human… but he was gone. The man had vanished into thin air!
He was later to learn about the tales of phantom hitchhikers…
10. Sunstorm was Megatron’s failure to clone Starscream. The clone is even more unstable then the original, so he locks him away as so much junk. Sunstorm, with his already unstable programming doesn’t take long to deteriorate. His solitary confinement eats away at his sanity bit by but until sanity no longer resides. His reserves of Energon barely keep his body alive as no-one comes to see him or feed him.
During an attack on one of Megatron’s bases the Autobots discover the abandoned Sunstorm. They rescue him from his confinement and take him back to their base, not knowing the extent of Sunstorm’s madness.
Sunstorm causes havoc, escapes and is now a danger to every living thing. He proves such a danger the Autobots and Decepticons reluctantly team-up in order to stop him. Starscream who was kept in the dark about the experiment discovers the truth and decides to protect Sunstorm, his ‘brother’, from both factions so sets about hiding the clone.
11. The Scientific community of Cybertron had always kept themselves away from the war. Refusing to choose a side, knowing what their skills could give to either faction. They were about creating, NOT destruction. They knew their talents were valuable so hid away in secrecy. That was until one of their own betrayed them. Starscream.
AU section:
A. He sold them out to the Decepticons and they were left with a choice. Work for the ‘cons or die. A few actually chose death and it was granted. Others willingly accepted and began to take pleasure in their creations being put to use. Whilst others agreed reluctantly, unwittingly.
Two such unwilling scientists were Perceptor and Wheeljack.
While others such as Hook, Mixmaster and Soundwave felt that their creations were actually being put to practical use and began to enjoy working for the Decepticons.
12. Everybody wants Soundwave and Blaster!
The pair were guinea-pigs for a revolutionary experiment, revolving around a Symbiotic relationship. This of course proved a success as the Cassettes were born. But the creationists were not just happy with that, they wanted to autopsy the Cassettes to find ways to improve it. However Soundwave and Blaster had become close to these new creation, seeing them as children where the experimenters only saw subjects for testing. So they planned an escape with the Cassettes and are now on the run.
13. AU
The Ark is like The Starship enterprise, an exploratory science vessel.
In fact the Ark and it’s crew fall under

Also the Decepticon ship, Nemesis and it’s crew are under Section 31 too. Yet there are vast differences in how both ships operate.
The Ark is mostly concerned in exploration and discovery whereas the Nemesis is 100% a warship.
Section 31 allows for the crew to work outside of the law, but whereas the Ark tries to work alongside the law, the Nemesis takes full advantage of their free reign.
It gets to the stage where those on the Nemesis are beginning to take things to the far extreme, yet the
Cybertronian government has little they can do without overstepping their own boundaries and making Section 31 public knowledge.
So they beseech the Ark crew to do the dirty work.
14. AU.
The Transformers were the creation of one mind. Spike. He didn’t know it but Spike was the son of goddess. Sparkplug never told his son the truth, he was only told she died in childbirth, but even that is not true.
Spike has the power to create, so his dreams of alien robots one day simply came into being.
A. The Transformers do not know they are fabrications of a child-Gods mind.
B. Bringing her back. The Goddess in question is Gaia.
C. The Transformers ARE real but were awakened by the pull of Spike’s Subconscious.
15. We’ve had Transformers turned into Sparklings. Well how about Transformers turned into Babies?!
