If Perceptor contributed programming to Warpath (even post-spark-placement or however their robotic bodies become sentient), would that make him one of Warpath's creators?

I have never actually read Oedipus Rex so I checked Wiki. I will now have to read it, if only to learn why his father pinned his feet together.

It'd be interesting to see a Transformers version of this. Soundwave would likely be the blind prophet (even though, of the three you mentioned, I'd rather it be Blaster). His optic band could represent a blindfold, making people believe he is blind. Although, considering his face mask, people might also assume he's mute and simply 'speaks to their minds'. The fact that he's a telepath probably encourages this belief.

Oedipus would be... Optimus? Hot Rod?

And I seem to have gotten off the subject of Warpath. Yes, those two bunnies could go together. I don't know if donating programming would make Perceptor one of Warpath's creators. If Warpath was newly created, he would be. But if Warpath had already been alive a while? Maybe it'd be like donating bone marrow or something.

But of course, in order to ensure that Megatron kept up the correct leader-persona even in private, Starscream installed cameras in Megatron's quarters...

Hmmm... either he uses them as blackmail, somehow without getting killed, or (since this version of him is all mature), he erases anything embarassing (after watching it a few times, of course).

How *would* Sunstorm react if someone tried to worship him instead of Primus? His beliefs would tell him that being used as a blasphemous idol is a bad thing, but the Starscream-ness in him would just love it.

You should add that to your next list. Because I really don't know.

Because it's never a good idea to get on the bad side of an ally? What if the Combaticons need the Stunticons help during a battle? If Onslaught allows the tater tots to die, Motormaster might ignore a distress signal.

Either that or Onslaught has a crush.

He did once. Hook lectured him on the dangers of organic objects in his fuel tanks. He also had to bribe Rumble to pose as a human and go get some more tots before Motormaster got back.

I suppose Chromia might have cheated on Ironhide with Soundwave then entrusted the resulting cassette to Blaster (because Ironhide disliked Blaster at first and so would probably never find out). But during the war, Ironhide was forced to work with Blaster and gradually grew to respect him and his work.

Blaster seems to be everyone's babysitter. *suddenly imagines him joining the Babysitters Club* Wow, I hadn't thought of those books in forever.

I was thinking that (if Perceptor was really considered to be Warpath's creator) that Warpath would be Oedipus, Perceptor's mate whom Warpath killed would be King Laius, Oedipus' father, and Perceptor would be Queen Jocasta (Oedipus' mother).

I did like your suggestion of Optimus though. It fits... Oedipus was determined to find out the truth of his origins even though it meant negative consequences for himself and caused him to be banished.
