20 Bunnies

Jul 31, 2008 16:48

This is a bit ridiculous. Apparently, nothing breeds bunnies faster then trying not to. And in other news, I seem to have acquired a crack muse.

1. [2007]Crossover- Knight Rider/TKR. Some part of me insists that F.L.A.G.’s A.I.s were created with or inspired by Sector Seven research. Perhaps K.I.T.T. would like to meet his ‘uncles’? Maybe not ( Read more... )

2. In another universe, Megatron and Optronix/Orion Pax are allies and friends, working together to reform the corrupt state of Cybertronian politics, and to close the large gap between the elite and everyone else. They co-lead a ragtag group of reformers known as the Decepticons, named for the fact that they will bribe, blackmail or kidnap senators in an attempt to get their legislation passed.

Just the first sentence of this bunny... radiates awesome.

4. [g1] (season three) After Optimus was resurrected, Hot Rod felt…distant. Empty. Numb. Galvatron, in a fit of sanity, takes advantage of this.

Those darn fits of sanity... they make ya do crazy things. And 'takes advantage of' has an amusingly wide range of connotations.

7. Some writers have postulated that Transformers like Wheeljack (Creative, non-linear thinkers) are rarer then their equivalents in humanity. Others have implied that human’s alien perspective has lead to ideas and breakthroughs that might not have happened. Taking this to its logical conclusion, can you say Growth Industry? Artists, Writers and Inventors hiring themselves out, Governments trading “Non-linear Consultation” for access to alien tech, Schools and vocational training designed to “help people access their non-linear potential”…

Hmmm... sometimes it seems to me that human craziness and unpredictability is the only thing keeping the Transformers from total domination. If the Decepticons could create and duplicate a program for 'so crazy it'll work' human thought processes, then the human race would be doomed. Seems like some 'Con might have had a hand in convincing humans to hand over their last advantage. Even the Autobots might find that humans lose their quirky appeal if their human-ness is analyzed and broken down.

11. [g1] I just read Kirin_Saga’s fic Friendship, and it spawned this bunny: The constructicons kidnap Silverbolt to make sure he’s good enough for Omega Supreme. Just because they’re on opposite sides of the war and no longer friends, doesn’t mean they’re just going to sit back at let someone unworthy take advantage of him.

*cheers*

13. [g1] Red Alert has lapsed so far into paranoia he’s come out the other side.
RA: Why bother with security? They’ll find out no matter what, so we might as well save our energy.

And the Red Alert/Dead End bunny is born.

17. [g1] The end times, as predicted in the bible, come. Megatron is annoyed. It’s disrupting his energon harvest. (Because, as some corporations have noted, the apocalypse is really bad for business.)

Thanks for the praise. Blame this bunny on Optimus. He and Megatron wandered into my head, half-overcharged, both bearing Decepticon sigils and singing "The porcupine can never be buggered at all". I had to come up with an explanation before my brain broke.

And the Red Alert/Dead End bunny is born.

The threesome with Snarl is on tuesday.

My brain is a scary place, isn't it?. Whats worse is that the porcupine song isn't mine. Terry Pratchet came up with it. And bits of it got published. *whistles cheerfully* for further brainbreaking, you can follow this back:

Warning: NSFW, and the song title is quite accurate in describing the theme of the song.

O_O

The song is so LONG, how did he come up with it all??

Never mind, I don't want to know. Terry Pratchett has a strange but amusing mind (just finished Good Omens). And now I am actually imagining drunk Optimus and Megatron singing this. Frag it, I just gathered the bits of my brain together and they scattered again!

Don't know if this makes it better or worse, but Pratchett came up with the idea, length and a few lines only. Nanny Ogg sings it in Wyrd Sisters. What I linked you to is a fan's creation of it's probable lyrics, one of several. It's simply the most widely accepted version. If it helps, imagine Prowl and Starscream's reaction to their leaders singing it.
