1. They pushed Soundwave too far. Now the Cassettes don’t have him to protect them from the bigger ‘cons.
2. In The Golden Lagoon the Electrum was tainted but the effects do not show until later as the poison starts to seep into those who covered themselves with it.
3. Red Alert knows all about security, because once upon a time he was a well renowned cat Burglar.
4. Inferno and Red Alert go way back. When Inferno was in prison and Red Alert was a prison warden. (Or other way around)

A bunch of strangers awake in an empty room, and discover they are in some glorified puzzle. Where some rooms are booby trapped and each have to use their skills to work their way out of the maze of apparently empty cube shaped rooms.

In The Birds a random attack by a Seagull follows down a route of increasingly erratic behaviour of all avians. It is never revealed what caused the birds to start attacking people but whatever it was is starting to effect all flight designed Transformers. (Specialised designs such as Swoop and the Seekers not so much with any old decepticon.)
