I'm getting the bad feeling that the longer I stay here, the faster the bunnies will come....
1. [G1] The Egyptian chaos god Set usually enjoys watching the carnage of the Transformers' battles, but when one of his favorite temples is destroyed by the Decepticons, it becomes personal. And when it becomes personal to Set, the offenders will pay....
2. [Any] For 99% of Cybertronians, the only way to have fully-sparked sentient offspring is through either the Allspark of Vector Sigma. However, the remaining 1% have a special programming that allows them to do the same thing themselves with a partner. These special Cybertronians are called Coders.
2a) Every vorn, a Coder will go through a heat cycle that lasts 14 orns. The heat cycle has two phases, each lasting seven orns. In the first phase, the Coder's body starts storing energy, prompting the Coder to increase fuel consumption to meet the new demands.Once the second phase starts, the Coder starts looking for a mech that contains the most desired qualities (criteria varies based on the individual Coder's personal preferences) and then interfaces with them for the duration of the cycle (sharing the energy the Coder stored in the first cycle to keep them both going).
2b) Technically, a Coder's sparkling creation program can be activated by interface at any time. The odds of this happening under normal circumstances is 15%. However, during the heat cycle, that number jumps up to 50% during the first phase, then 97% during the second phase.
2c) A Coder who doesn't want a sparkling can bypass the heat cycle by going into stasis to "sleep it out." This can only be started at the beginning of the cycle, because if done too late, the excess energy, having nowhere to go, could loop through the Coder's body and damage vital circuitry.
2d) The first sign that the sparkling creation program has been activated is spark pains, which indicate that the spark has started splitting a piece of itself off. As that small spark piece has the programming taken from the partner put into it, material is taken from the Coder's body to create the protoform shell (usually from armor and other non-essential systems). This usually lasts about two vorns. Once the spark pains subside, there is usually no other inconveniences until it is time to remove the spark and shell, and it is very difficult to tell a Coder is carrying (and even then the most noticeable difference would be a slight thinning of the frame from material for the protoform shell being leeched).
2e) In the rare case of twins, however, the change is more drastic with double the materials being leeched from the Coder's body, and the Coder will generally have fatigue, the need for higher fuel consumption and increased risk of damage.
3. [Any] A bored Transformer discovers the human art of ventriloquism.
4. [G1/Animated] Transformers/Xanth crossover. Because I can just see Shockwave/Soundwave/Prowl/Red Alert going on the fritz and repeatedly banging their head against an insani-tree.
5. [Any] Transformers/Battletech crossover. It'd be interesting to see if the presence of the Transformers influences the technological and social evolution of the human race in any way. Perhaps they discover faster-than-light travel sooner or are successful in creating Land-Air Mechs (Battlemechs that can transform into Aerospace fighters)? Would the new technology allow the humans to help the Autobots to defeat the Decepticons? And what about the Star League and the Second Exodus? Who would follow Aleksandr Kerensky and his troops and who would stay behind to try to keep the Star League from collapsing on itself?
6. [G1] After losing contact with the Nemesis, Shockwave could feel himself start to go mad from isolation. When shadowy creatures started showing up, he assumed he was hallucinating, his subconscious creating them and superimposing them on his environment in an effort to stave off the loneliness. So he let them be, occasionally interacting with them and chalking up their responses to his subconscious. Imagine his surprise when, after the Earth space bridge is built, the other Decepticons can see the creatures as well.
6a) After four million years of contact, the creatures and Shockwave have what can be considered a benevolent companionship (he wouldn't go so far as to call them friends--they're just hallucinations, after all). However, the creatures aren't so fond of the other Decepticons.
7. [Any] Evanescence's Even in Death
www.youtube.com/watch Someone who is grieving for their lost bondmate becomes delusional, believing that they never died.
7a) Or it could be the other way around--their mate came back as a ghost that only they can see and hear, and everyone merely thinks that they're going insane.
8. [Animated] Shockwave/Megatron/domination. It was almost frightening how his quiet obedient demeanor would just do a complete 180 when they were alone in their quarters. Almost.
9. [G1] Megatron's been the victim of a lot of accidents the past few weeks, and lately it's only been with Soundwave's help that he's managed to get through them relatively unscathed. He's beginning to suspect that these "accidents" are really assassination attempts. But Starscream just isn't that subtle, and these tactics are too underhanded for the righteous Autobots. So if it's not the enemy and it's not the usual traitor, who's trying to kill him?
10. [Animated] The Decepticons ended up moving into an abandoned mine at the end of Season 1. What they don't know was that the mine was closed to human workers because there were so many accidents and deaths. But now, as Halloween (also known as the Day of the Dead) draws close, the original inhabitants are becoming more curious about the metal intruders, and as the barrier between realms slowly opens up, they are finding more ways to reveal their existence to their new neighbors.
