One big movieverse bunny for the road.
During a mission the decepticons find an uderground cavern filled with strange energon plants. Splitting into groups of two they look around the cavern. Somehow Barricade and Starscream are together in a group. When looking at a strange stone Starscream hears a yelp and turns around to see Barricade being trussed up by tentacles and swallowed by a large flower. Fearing the same fate of being eaten Starscream and the rest of the decepticons high tail it out of the cavern and Starscream is forever haunted by Barricade's fate. Many thousands of years later after the war has ended and a truce has been made between the two factions, starcream finally returns to the cavern where the plants are being destroyed because they are leeching pecious energon reserves. In anger of what had happened the first time he had been there Starscream busts open one of the closed flowers and lo and behold inside the flower trussed up in vines and being force-fed energon is Barricade alive but not so well. Due to being in darkness, having to endure freezing tempuratures, being unable to move for so many years and having the plants feed on his spark energy. Barricade has become albino( with pink optics aswell), is extreemly weak and cold. Starscream is overjoyed at finding him and emeadiatly volenteers to look after him. Due to the cercumstances he was in Barriced needs to kept warm all the time, hand fed energon, given phisiotherapy and wear glasses(due to how poor his optics have become). Whether Barricade recoves to his former self is up to the author.
