Starscream the ultimate housewife

Yes, you read that title correctly.

Just a pair of thoughts that occurred to me: 'Why are the Decepticons so busy fighting the Autobots, when they obviously have so many issues among their own ranks?' and 'If the seekers are as close-knit group as the fandom insinuates, then they at least should be able to work with the communal lifestyle.' Then those thoughts germinated with the muse over the half hour walk to work, and this is the result:

What if Megatron was temporarily disabled for whatever reason, and Starscream had to take over? BUT, instead of offing the leader permanently or othewise just blowing up his own ego, the Air Commander started tackling more domestic issues on board the Nemesis, like chores and bots shirking them, intelligent rationing of the energon, misbehaving cassettes and Stunticons, etc.

Once Megatron comes back around, the ship is spotless from top to bottom, everyone is fed and content, in-faction fights have hit an all-time low (with perhaps a specific room in the lower levels assigned as 'the brawl room'), and the usual troublemakers are quietly (or as close as Decepticons are able) keeping one another occupied. And Starscream is standing in the middle of the non-chaos, calmly watching the Cons puttering back and forth in their assigned tasks, giving directions, comments or gentle reprimands every now and then ("That belongs in the storage room B-23." "Mixmaster, I've told you to wash your servos before touching the consoles.") and smiling serenely all the while.
