Haha.
Figured mine'd get out. I wasn't even crazy about it.

Could I snag some critique for #10?

Critique:Even though I like how you inserted the double image, I'm not a fan of the border or the text. The border is too dark when your icon is all lightened purple, so it doesn't go well at all. the text is over Amy's face as well, and at all sorts of random angles, and doesn't work well with the icon. Try to make the colors match more, and make the text go together and position it better on the icon ( ... )

Critique:

The coloring is very dull and flat. I think it'd look better if it were bright and vibrant, with more line/dot light textures and maybe a cut of a pattern on the side.

Good Comments:

Good colouring, lovely picture, the text is placed good and readable, the texture gives light to it but not too much and the boarder is fitting. It's the prettiest icon in this round I think :D

I just really like how smooth this image feels, with the light coming in from the side. Everything is well blended together, and I like the colors.

Critique:

The image seems overly contrasted. The light textures, do add a nice touch to the icon, however the colours of the textures don't mesh well with the colours of the original image, making the colouring funny. Also one of the light textures overmasks Kairi's cheeks, giving the impression of a double chin.

Critique:

The icon is too trendy and the person really didn't think out side of the box. The colors are blah and the subject just doesn't stand out.

the background image is too dark, it doesn't contrast enough with the image in the circle

Good Comments:

I simply adore this icon. Everything meshes perfectly.

Colouring is beautiful. I don't usually like the circle crop of the base, but on your icon, it looks right. I also like how the floral/leaf brushes (textures?) add to the icon.

Critique:

The blurry effect was attempted here and was not pulled off. D:

The reason I choose this icon is because it doesn't give me a lot. While simplicity and textless icons can be done well if the colours are vibrant or the crop is interesting this icon lacks in both aspects.

The red colours (background) are too dominant therefore the character doesn't get much attention (also because it's bright and a bit blurry - especially that has to go a bit down, then the icon would be more decent).

Nothing stands out, it just looks like a crop with a gradient/texture over it.

Good Comments:

the icon's cropping with the cobination of texture usage is beautiful, and for a textless icon it is soo very emotive.
