Farewell, Chez Fou
The paperwork was signed this morning, and we just cleared out the very last bits of anything left that could be called ours. The new owner will likely take posession tomorrow.
It's a little sentimental, but it feels good, too. It feels like I wrapped up a part of my life, and I'm on the precipice of another.
We also did a few official tours of some listings we like, and I think we're very close to narrowing down to just a couple. We may well make an offer on one of the ones we saw today, if it's still available when we're ready to do so in a week or two (and if nothing new shows up on the market that we simply have to have.) Don't want to jinx it by linking them, but both are in/near Newcastle, and are very lovely.
Gah... This all feels so very real, now!
