A black racer snake (acer cooperi) was passionately chasing down a Cuban tree frog yesterday, and I got to watch! I have always loved those snakes, and now I do even more. He did not get his frog because I disturbed him, but it warmed the cockles of my heart to know he would have, and does, when I am not around. I have such a snake in the shrubs

Hey Kim, it's great that you are enjoying your work so much right now. Treasure every moment of it. I once was there and one day that came to an end but I remember those fulfilling days at work as the happiest of my life :)

Audis, I am so aware that it is a rare thing to be fulfilled in one's work! This is the only time it has happened to me, except when I was teaching four-year-olds. I'm going to ride the wave for as long as it will last. :)
