Graham's friend Terry is on a new show on the Discovery Channel called Prototype This. Terry is a pretty awesome person, and I'm terribly excited about the show.
This is the Discovery Channel description: In a warehouse on an island in San Francisco Bay, a team of engineers and PhD's are inventing the future one prototype at a time. From finding solutions to today's problems, to conceiving cool machines that are just fun to have around, the Prototype This crew imagines and then invents the future by using emerging technologies to build the craziest, one-of-a-kind prototypes of tomorrow.
Tune in Wednesdays at 10 e/p for loads of zany brilliance, hi-tech wizardry, and a inside look at some of the latest tools and gadgets that just may change the way we live and work.
It's appropriately geeky and irreverent for me and mine, and I think a lot of my non-Burner readers who don't know Terry probably also would like the show. The first episode is during the Presidential debate next week, but there's a repeat a few hours later that you can set your DVR to record if you (like us) can only record one show at a time.
