Two new Wilco songs
Impossible Germany and What Light from Wilco's new Sky Blue Sky album due out in May. I heard "Impossible Germany" in October when they came through San Antonio and really liked a lot. The studio version is as good.
Apparently most of the rest of the album is out there if you google for the torrents.
In other news, the Jackson & Perkins catalog is driving me crazy with covetness. They're having a sale, and I can't help but desire all sorts of roses.
I have visions of some sort of hedge of roses lining my driveway in my back yard and the front sidewalk leading up to my porch. I have visions of Gladiolus adorning my back yard. I want hollyhocks everywhere. And I would adore to have lavender everywhere.
Of course, the inability to make decisions, available time to work in the yard, lack of a coherent plan other than "I want", and finances will limit the garden stuff that I do this year. But this time of year just makes me want to be outside in my yard and play in the dirt as much as possible.
