Yep, spending too much time on WoW
Last night, we finally downed Rotface after about 7 wipes. The last attempt nearly unraveled, but we got it done.
Then, just out of curiosity, we walked over to Festergut and gave him a wake-up call.
My guild, who wipes on the Lootship once every week (usually due to equipment malfunction or other bad luck), who struggles on the Faction Champions for about 45 minutes ever week, downed Festergut in our first-ever attempt. Seven of us had never even entered his room before.
Wha? I know it's not a complicated fight, they don't give you much margin for error, so I expected at least one wipe, followed by an "oh, that's what I was supposed to be doing!"
Afterwards we went over to Putricide and wiped very quickly. Trash had respawned at that point, so we called it. We'll try again tonight.
Still, good raid last night.
Meanwhile, my first alt to hit 80 has taken my main's spot in our ToC group, and our top DPS took over as healer on his pally. Worst geared toon in the raid, top on the DPS (which goes back to why I didn't think we'd one-shot Festergut).
