TM 226: Looking Forward
Name three things that you're looking forward to in the near future and why.
1. See Noah again. I just have to keep faith, really, truly believe that he’s coming back. He promised me. He will be back. Whenever he’s done what he needs to, he’ll get away from those… those people and find his way back to me, to his family. Nothing can stand in his way, not when he’s determined. I know that with all that I am. And I know that he will never, ever abandon me. Me, or our children.
2. Everything being back to normal. Being able to pick up our lives, not worrying about people coming up behind us from every shadow. Not running. Getting the kids back in school. Letting Mr. Muggles get back into his shows. He’s been missing the spotlight, but he’s such a brave boy, so selflessly putting his fame aside for us.
3. Lyle outgrowing whatever phase he’s in now. I know it said near future, but I can hope, right? I’d so dearly love to be able to talk to my son without having to shout over whatever that music is. Really. If it isn’t downright depressing, it’s so… harsh… that you can’t make out the words. I miss the less attitude filled years, I really do. At least Claire was never so… so distant.
