prompt - Sleepless Beauty
Another short fluffy one... but I hope you enjoy it anyway ^_^
Eeteuk felt like he hadn't slept in weeks.
He couldn't sleep. He'd just lay in his bed with his eyes closed, night after night. Eventually he gave up, and would write in his cyworld, or practice for something coming up the next day. He tried pushing himself during the day to be extra tired, but that just made it worse. He started losing weight too.
The doctors said it was stress. They told him to take a few days off and gave him some sleeping pills.
It didn't help.
It was 4:30 AM and Eeteuk was sitting at the computer, trying to think of something happy to write in his Cyworld. Something to make his fans feel better. He had more worried messages than he could ever read. Everyone had started to notice the bags under his eyes that no makeup could cover up and how his clothes were hanging on his thinning frame.
He heard soft footsteps as someone came up behind him.
"Hyung," Yesung said softly, putting a hand on Eeteuk's shoulder, "You still can't sleep?"
Eeteuk shook his head.
Yesung pulled on Eeteuk's arm. "Come sleep with me."
Eeteuk looked up at Yesung with an incredibly sad face. "I can't sleep, Yesungie. At all."
Yesung wrapped his arms around Eeteuk. "I know."
Eeteuk fought the urge to cry, he was just so tired! He finally got up and followed Yesung to his room.
Yesung pulled Eeteuk into bed, tucked the thick blankets up around him, and kissed him on the forehead. Eeteuk laid there with his head on Yesung's chest, listening to his heart beat.
"Teuki-ah, just relax," Yesung whispered, running his hand through his Hyung's hair. "Don't think about anything, just listen to my voice." He began singing softly, something slow and sweet, and Eeteuk smiled to himself, and nuzzled into Yesung more.
Eventually, Eeteuk's breathing slowed, and Yesung grinned hugely. Finally, finally, he was asleep.
As Yesung watched him sleep, he thought to himself that he'd never seen anything more beautiful.
