Eunhyuk came home from recording Kiss the Radio one night to find Donghae standing out on the balcony, the cool breeze gently ruffling his hair. He was staring up at the sky with his mouth slightly open, his eyes fixed on the stars above him.
Eunhyuk stepped outside, closing the door behind him. "Donghae, what are you doing?" he asked, smiling at his silly bandmate.
"I'm watching for shooting stars," Donghae replied, not looking away from the sky.
Eunhyuk grinned and looked up at the stars. "Are you trying to make a wish?"
Donghae turned to stare at Eunhyuk like he was crazy. "Hyung, do you know what shooting stars are?"
Eunhyuk just looked at Donghae. "Stars...?"
Donghae sighed and shook his head. "They're alien spaceships."
Eunhyuk started to laugh but stopped, Donghae looked so serious.
"Donghae," Eunhyuk said slowly, "there is no such thing as aliens."
Donghae looked at him seriously. "There's no way to know that."
Eunhyuk shrugged, "I guess that's true."
They went back to staring at the sky.
Some time passed and Eunhyuk finally spoke again. "If I see one, I'm still going to make a wish."
"What will you wish for, Hyung?"
Eunhyuk was quiet for a moment before responding. "Love."
"You believe in love but you don't believe in aliens?"
"Yep."
"...why?"
Eunhyuk looked over at Donghae, who was staring at him curiously, and felt his face get hot. "No reason."
