Silk Screen Until Your Knees Give

Yesterday Sara and I were in the printmaking room all night to finish up for our critique.
Starting time was at 4:30 PM and 3:15 PM respectively. End time 1:30 AM!!!!

It would have been done much quickly if I didn't have to do the reduction process. LAME.
Sara was working on her paintings for her Thursday critique, so that was one extra thing.

Around 4-6 ish, we were the only ones there at the printmaking room. It was NICE not to compete for workspace and to spread all our stuff out. We got to a stopping point (aka NEED FOOD NOW) and went out to dinner at Hon Wo Ri. Mmmm delicious Korean food. On our way back to the Reynolds Building, we saw Mark and Keith heading into CD Central. They were full on beer and gave us hugs. Then this weird guy walked by while waving a beer bottle over his head and clutching black tennis shoes. I don't remember the bottle, I only saw the shoes. All of us scooted over towards the edge of the sidewalk. We all chatted for a while and Mark nearly fell on a guy because he thought it was Keith and then had to awkwardly catch himself. XD

Back at the Reynolds Building, it was packed full of the other students trying to finish up. Now we had to fight for space. I only had to print a few more colors and helped Sara with her screen. But it was a night for big screw ups. We both botched the screen multiple times. I used the blunt end to apply emulsion and made the screen really thick and uneven. All of Sara's images would show up when she exposed it on the light table. Later on we found out that it was because she put the glass over the screen instead of vice versa. Light had a harder time going through the image and then the glass.

When we both finished our prints and clean up, we wanted CHOCOLATE AND A CUSHY COUCH. Then we were both really slap happy when we were watching TV. We watched the tailend of CSI, Star Trek came on. The alien woman had weird and HUGE boobs. We kept commenting on it until we changed the channel. Of course the next channel we flipped to also had weird boobs. We were that slap happy that we stopped to yell BOOBS and comment whether they were fake or not...... Then we gave up on TV because we would have kept screaming about boobs.

MY KNEES HURT BADLY!

THE END!
