He rushes towards Mad and then hits the thrusters upwards, jumping - and landing the somewhat small Cherubot right on top of the rather huge Ares Gear]
Awesome! Cherubot, do your thing!
[And with a blast, Cherubot emits a powerful spherical pulse of force that sends enemies tumbling away - not very harmed but definitely going to need a few seconds to recover stability. Then he starts shooting right from atop the Gear like a turret]
WAH! [As Mad starts screamind and lasering in all directions, it's all Pit can do to get the hell out of dodge, hitting Cherubot's thrusters and taking cover in a nearby gorge as the murderlasers rage all around, waiting for the attack to die down as he yells in excitement]
Whoa, what is that guy's problem?! I... don't really know. Something about his father, I think he yelled. The explosions muddled it a bit. Yeah, well, see if I help him again! I tried to do an awesome combination move with him and the jerk went and burned off poor Cherubot's halo! [The angel seems rather offended] Now, now, Pit. Maybe there's a reason.

[The words were a Snarl as the huge machine got to its feet, the lasers on its shoulders charging brightly.]
YOU! STOOD! ON! ARES! GEAR!!!
[....and cue the RAGELASERS. The enemy would find many of their number mercilessly bisected by the swift beams.]
