[Pit takes a hand to the back of his head] Yeah, I guess I really should, uh? Shows that I still have a long way to go to being a really good angel, doesn't it, hahaha∼
Angels also don't lie, Pit [Palutena's voice is gentle, but firm] You have been acting strange since you met those girls up in the deck
L-Lady Palutenaaa! [And cue one very mortified Pit]
Nothing! I swear it's not what you're thinking! ...if that's what you're thinking! Because you shouldn't! [Yeah, Pit is clearly too mortified to really remember what started this conversation in the first place]
Please don't hold it against him. He embarrasses easily.
[Pit, for all reply, just hangs his head in defeat and says nothing]
There was a group of young girls with some strange cylindrical machines talking there. I did not hear what they were talking about.
...they were discussing aerial formations... [It's odd, hearing the normally loud Pit talk in such a little whisper]
[And at that, Palutena actually gasps slightly. For some reason, something as silly as that seems to have made her drop the trolling on the spot] ...oh, dear...
[She's interrupted as Pit shakes his head vigorously, as if to try to shake an idea off and far away, before looking back up. Still annoyed, but much more clear-thinking, seems] Don't worry about me, Lady Palutena. I'm alright.
Quiet, Pit.
...yes, Lady Palutena.
Pit's wings don't work right. He's never been able to fly, even though he's an angel. It makes him feel... inadequate. [Pit twitches a bit, clearly wanting to vocally argue that last bit - but not willing to gainsay his goddess]
I guessed as much. Otherwise you wouldn't need so many flying machines! Besides, Pit, look at it this way - even if they can fly, how many people can say they have singlehandedly taken down several gods? Besides, I need you ready and energetic like you really are, not all mopey!
[To that, Pit energetically nods and takes a hand to his head in a (not very formally correct) salute] On your command, Lady Palutena!
Now that's more like the Pit I know! [Palutena can't be seen, but the smile can almost be heard]
Sure would be nice to be able to fly without Cherubot, though...
[Pit fist pumps, grinning widely and jumping a little bit with the pump]Heck yeah! I'm going to try asking Tsukasa and finally get to fly! The wind under my wings, the sun in my face, boooyeah!
[He then seems to realize something and looks back at Laura]...uh, who is Tsukasa, again?
Aaah! I'm sorry! Are you okay?
[As the one who just emerged from those doors, Laura doesn't know how oblivious Pit may have been - only that she just opened a door in his face!]

Yeah, don't worry, I'm fine! My fault, I shouldn't have been so distracted. An angel is supposed to be ever vigilant!

[Lying: Another thing angels are not very good at.]

[Strange voice from nowhere - well, it's not like this is her first time meeting Pit. She's not jumping to any conclusions just yet.]

You know, with you reacting like this, I don't know what to think. You'll have to explain.

Er... don't feel too bad about it, most people take a while to get used to their... uniform...

Don't worry. For humans to be able to fly like that is... unusual.

If you ask Tsukasa, he might loan you his Driver. I think it has a mode for flight!
