Roger isn't the only one who's having trouble with letting the weight of what's happened hit him, nor is he the only one who chose to go to Hydroponics. Ahead of him is an armored dwarf, with hammer in-hand. He's not hostile, he's just used to carrying the thing everywhere. Khal's just admiring the fact that such a natural-looking place could fit on a ship, even if he doesn't understand it.

Armor, Roger understands, as well as carrying weapons whether or not they're needed. The dwarf part... well, that's a little odd, but eh. Bet he'd be an absolute wrecking ball on the football field.

Probably best not to surprise him, though, or that hammer'll end up someplace unfortunate.

"Impressive place, isn't it?" Roger calls from what he estimates is a safe introductory distance.

Khal's attention is gotten, and he turns at the voice. He nods at the taller man. "Aye, never expected anyone to make a ship that be big enough to house somethin' like this. Almost like walkin' into a whole other world."

"I've seen big ships before," Roger says. "Like floating cities. This? Takes the cake." He shakes his head, thinking of some of the Pacific Fleet's carriers, and how easily they could be berthed in the spaces this starship has. "If I'd woken up in here I'd never know I was on a ship at all."

"Impressive gear, by the way. Someone put a lot of time into that, if I'm any judge."

It doesn't have to be power armor to be impressive. It doesn't even have to be cerasteel/polyweave combat armor. Craft will tell.
