I'm testing whether or not wood is a viable substance to repair or build mecha out of.

Well, you would have to entirely rework the basic structure of the machine. And you of course lose a huge amount of durability and potential size. But wood is way more plentiful than metal, so it might be worth it if someone could find a good ratio of size, weight and power output.

I don't want to give myself salt poisoning and it would have to be really strong tomato sauce. Most tomato sauce just tastes like... well... almost every other kind of sauce to me.

I put hot sauce on things because I can taste it. That's just it, I don't know of anything else I can use that I can actually taste.
