[1. Prose]

Adam once again found himself in the ship's Sensoriums, having called up a holographic firing range. It was somewhat for practice, though he didn't really need it, what with his body augmented with targeting systems, aim stabilizers, and recoil compensaters.

Rather, he found it somewhat lethargic, as well as a bit comforting. This place--this ship, that was something he had to get used to--was strange, and alien in more ways than one. So to accomodate, he started giving himself a routine, something repetetive like firing down a gun range, to push away the thoughts of how strange the whole situation was. It wasn't much unlike how he had first coped with waking up to find over half his body replaced with augmentations, pushing himself back into his routine to forget about the fact that he could break a man's neck with a flick of the wrist..

That part of his life, however, was something he had eventually come to accept, if only grudgingly at first. Focusing so much on the missions he had received after being discharged from recovery eventually made using his augmentations feel like second nature, as if they were as natural as the limbs and organs he had been born with. It was so natural to him now that he didn't even bother wearing his coat to cover up his cybernetic arms for the moment, as it tended to get in the way when trying to make an accurate shot.

After setting up the range, Adam silently pulled out his weapon of choice--silenced 10mm semiauto pistol with laser sight and armor piercing rounds--levelling it at the target. With no hesitation, he pulled the trigger.

Tried to sync my infolink up with this thing, think I must've done something wrong. Now my optic augs are freaking out and I have a splitting headache.

Anyone willing to help a guy out?
