So I bought some plane tickets to a third world country
I just bought my tickets for Guyana earlier today. My flight out of JFK departs at 1am, arrives in Georgetown a little before 7am. I return on the 14th, leaving Georgetown at 8am and arriving back at JFK at a little before 2pm. Now I have to figure out how I'm to get to JFK and back.
I've gotta finish the album and the game before then.
Game's almost done, just gotta finish Stage 6 and then do stages 7 and 8, then the ending sequence, then fine tune the controls and mechanics, polish up the presentation a bit, and it should be done. Not much farther now. Just gotta get motivated and do it.
So little left to record on the album. A few vocal tracks here and there, some waves from the beach, some fine tuning stuff... Gonna start mixing next week. Tentative October 13th release date? At least Doomsday Season will be released on 10:13. Gotta get album art taken care of pronto though. Got some concepts scribbled up already. Not much farther now. Just gotta get motivated and do it.
James and Caitlin are engaged. Their marriage is going to be in October 2013. They're moving out west for a year; they left this morning. Cait and I watched two X-Files episodes last night, including my favorite one. She and James are really good for each other.
Today was apparently National Video Games Appreciation Day? I got a pizza and played Borderlands all day with Alex. I'm such a procrastinator.
Starting work at Miller State Park. It's tiny, and in need of a major overhaul, but it's got a very beautiful view of the mountains. Kate and I had tried to make plans to hike Monadnock last fall, but that fell through. Oh well. Maybe we'll hike the Amazon instead.
