That apple doesn't fall far from the chickpea

Is anyone out there into their family tree? Years ago, someone down the line in one of those odd branches decided to do one, but it was only partial. I can't remember the web page for it, and none of the google searches I've made are coming up with something that I don't have to pay for. What happened to free records? That's what I want to know. Oh, and if I do have to spend money, what's the best bang for my buck. It's not like I have access to any libraries way over here in Allah Land.

So yeah, I'm looking for that apple. Luckily I do have a few notes that I just happened upon whilst looking for something else. I have no idea why I'm interested all of a sudden. It's not like I'm looking to be inducted into the Daughters of the Revolution or anything. I JUST WANNA KNOW!

Interesting things that I have learned today that has nothing to do with genealogy. It stems from eating my current dinner, which is yumeh!

I've always wondered what laban was - it's yogurt! I see it in the stores all the time. Labneh is a yogurt dip. Legumes are called pulses here. I love hummus, but my new favorite is moutabal, which has aubergine (eggplant) in it. Tastes so divine with my beef schwarma. Now I'm hungry.
