Package karma goes :bump:

Ordered some books from Amazon to be delivered by mail---they were in town last Friday, got inexplicably sent to Memphis, and the package couldn't be delivered today because it was pouring down sheets of rain---I'd just as soon NOT have wet books ( Read more... )

I am having surgery on the 20th so I hope my Winter Solstice will be happy.

I don't know what to think about your client. If he has diminished responsibility I don't think he should be driving, DUI or not. But how can his family not be aware of the problem before this.

God love you, Lady. You are a special and caring person.

Daughter used to work for UPS and the nightma... I mean stories she would tell. Don't send ANYTHING to Mexico, it won't make it past Mexican customs. USPS isn't much better, had mail that went to Venezuela for a year before it made it back home. Can you have your packages held for pick up? Or a trustworthy neighbor that would keep it for you? Sigh. What is the world coming to.

A BIG ZEN HUG! And cards should make it eventually.

Well, I know it's wrong to get so angry about this, but damn!

It's not wrong at all. We cannot sit back and let ourselves become complacent victims. We may have no choice about BEING victims, but we don't have to like it. Not one bit!

Best wishes for a speedy resolution to the shipping problem...as one who ships a lot, I know how dreadful it can be at both ends.

I want my purse! I've never had a name brand bag in my life, so I treated myself....and the UPS guy says he left it on the back porch. Wrong. It is stirring up all the "I can never have anything nice" feelings I've had for lo these 40 years. I have a friend who gave me the local number, and they are contacting the driver...nothing for six hours after I said, rather menacingly, that I was on my back porch, and that I checked the back porch last night. Haven't let them know I'm am a lawyer.

My last jury liked me, too. Convicted my client, but they liked me. ;)
