I think I've finally figured out why I've been having so much trouble with putting text on my icons. When I'm cropping them, I crop them so they look good as is, I'm not planning a place for the text when I crop. No wonder all my icons look better without text, I designed them that way. pfft!

I just wanted to post something short. Not much has changed on the potty-training front, but I've learned enough that I think it will be easier next time.

Still taking it easy in an attempt to remained centered and calm for the accidents and struggles, but I was able to make this icon from a beautiful photo by photophish. What do you think? I'm not quite ( Read more... )

I'm not entirely excited about this icon, and neither were the other members of clamp_icontest where I submitted it. I felt like it needed more work, but the deadline had arrived.

Still, I like it, a little heavy on the text and in need of something more in general, but still easy on the eyes.
