I got my Tokimeki Memorial Girl's Side 2nd Season for my Nintendo DS about a week ago. After struggling with it for a while (my Japanese isn't really good), I finally got my first guy. Yes!... The game is so cute, so romantic, and really fun to play. So I decided to post more about this game and the guys I tried to date and get their confessions in the game. Hehehe...
By the way, for anyone who happens to read my journal, please be aware that this is the first Tokimemo game that I've ever played so I have no knowledge referring to the first Girl's Side game or any games in the series. (I don't have PS2 so I've never played the PS2 version either.) Also, I'm not really good at Japanese so I might misunderstand something. So, please feel free to leave comments or correct me where I put wrong information.
GAME HELPS/FAQS
There are many websites with helps and walkthroughs for this game in English. Although most of the current walkthroughs/FAQs are for the PS2 (Playstation II) version, I think most of the info can be applied to the DS version too. (So far, I know that there are 2 extra guys in the DS version and there are some album pictures in DS vesion that don't seem to be mentioned in the PS2 FAQs.)
I'll list some links here for my references and for anyone who might need them. ^_^
+ Seaside Sketch:
http://hanegasaki.piyo-piyo.org/Very good thorough information about almost everything you need to know in order to play the game. (The info is mostly for PS2). It's very handy when you need to get some info about your guy, like the requirements to get his confession, what and where he likes, etc.
+ GameFAQs:
http://www.gamefaqs.com/portable/ds/game/943757.htmlThe current available FAQ is from the team who made the above (Seaside Sketch) website, so all the info are pretty much the same except that this one is more updated to the new stuff added in DS version.
*Note: I'm so surprised. I thought I would just put the link to PS2's FAQs because there wasn't any FAQ for DS version posted there when I last checked. But today, just now, I found the FAQ for DS version. Yeah~ I'm so happy. Thanks to all who contributed the time to write the FAQs.
These sites should be enough to help you through the game. Anyway, you may have to know some Japanese to really get absorbed into the game's atmosphere. A lot of the guys' conversations in this game could really make me blush and feel like I was having a fever. Some conversations even made me cry (especially when I was two-timing with two guys and had to reject one of them to get the other guy. That was a torture for me. T T).
Okay, enough for introduction. I'll post about the guys I manage to get in my later post then.
