(no subject)
Hello, flist, sorry no meme answers today, apparently I caught cold so I've been feeling really tired since yesterday, I even missed German today and didn't leave home so I could get better, not sure if I'll be able to attend classes tomorrow,though, my fever hasn't passed yet. Calling in sick feels strange because I haven't done it for three years XD Most of times I just don't even notice fever but yesterday I guess I suspected something while feeling exausted just after one lecture that wasn't even proper lecture in the first place.
I. Anyway, wanted to share a curious fact, speaking about the lecture that wasn't one, our professor brought to the class a guest from Peru and he was speaking to us the whole time (in Spanish of course;)) and he told some interesting things about his country. Most of all I really liked that Peru has laws protecting women now and a whole Ministry of Women (El ministerio de mujeres) with woman in charge. And there's one very amusing law:
If,say, a guy got engaged with a girl and then dumped her, she has the right to charge him FOR HER WASTED TIME with him, the punishment is not that scary - he should return all her presents and all the money she spent on their union and on him during the time they were together, but it's still something, right? And sounds even more awesome xD It's called The Lost Time's Law (La Ley del Tiempo Perdido)
II. A bit of Bones squee.
Just the other day I remembered about one shippy moment and wondered if it really was on the show or if I just dreamt it, but it was, here I found again that promo from last year and the first moment is just the one I thought about. If you haven't seen it watch it, if you have, rewatch ;D, my favourite promo EVER. I recommend it to those who still don't watch Bones, too, like the continuation of our previous convo ;D
