Brown Betty was so hated by people in the podcast community. And I thought it could have done with some more singing, but other than that I really liked it. It was "forced" by the whole Fox Rocks Glee thing, so perhaps it was a little rushed, but I didn't think it really deserved the hate it got. Some people were saying that it would make them stop watching the show!

I absolutely loved Northwest Passage because it was a tribute to Twin Peaks, which was a show that I was fascinated with and would discuss with one of my friends at secondary school every morning in the dark (we got there early). :)

I thought it sucked as a musical episode but I loved the noir style so much I ignored that part!

Hee! I hadn't realized it was a Twin Peaks tribute, but I liked it because it was different than the usual stuff.

And now I can watch the season 2 finale!

Yeah, I wish they had yanked out the musical parts, but I suppose the whole point was to have a musical episode... I really loved that combination of noir + modern technology like cell phones, etc. And the whole glass heart thing was very Wizard of Oz-ish.

The original title of Twin Peaks was Northwest Passage. :D

Very Wizard of Oz'ish. Actually, it reminded me a lot of steampunk, the mix of technology and noir. :) Noirpunk?

Ah!!! :)
