Weight change from last week: -1.5 lbs. *sigh* Better than nothing, especially since I cheated badly. Will do better this week.

This link is to an article written by a friend of our family. At the church we used to attend, she was married to the pastor's youngest son. She and her husband were the Sunday School teachers. They had two sons, Matt and Tyler, and as impressionable teens, we thought they were the perfect family. This story is about Matt. I'm warning you, bring the Kleenex.

Danae and Delenn are arguing. I give them (Danae, mostly, because Delenn has lost interest and run off) the lecture about "when you get older, she is going to be your best friend, because your siblings are the people who know you and love you the most, blah blah".
5 minutes later: Danae is on the phone selling Girl Scout cookies by remote to everyone in my grandmother's house, one by one.
Danae: Mom, Uncle Mark says nobody likes a pushy salesman.
Me: Tell Uncle Mark PHLBHHBBTTT!
Danae: My mom says PHLBHHBBTTT! (Slight pause) And she was just telling me how brothers and sisters are best friends. (Slight pause--sarcastic tone) Oh, yeah, I get it now.
