Well, it's official. Brett has a torn labrum and bone spurs in his right hip. He will have surgery on it soon and be out 3-4 months.
He was in his walk year too! He'd lost 30 pounds, he was ready for that new contract and now this. *sigh* Hopefully he will be back for the stretch run and sign a one-year deal to stay here. I'd like for Amaro to give him a three year deal but with all the money invested in Howard, Hamels, Utley and Ibanez Amaro probably has to root for change.
