1. What did you do in 2004 that you'd never done before?
Went on a holiday all by myself.
Visited Melbourne.
Didn't study!

2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
No (can't even remember what they were) and yeah, of course!

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
Mandy, and my cousin Bec.

4. Did anyone close to you die?
No, thank God.

5. What countries did you visit?
Stayed in Australia, unfortunately. Maybe next year :)

6. What would you like to have in 2005 that you lacked in 2004?
More money.
More sense.
A better car :D

7. What dates from 2004 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
April 5 - James went into the navy.
Early August sometime - I lost something important.
August 29 - Jamie and I got together.

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Probably my promotion. I didn't set many goals for this year.

9. What was your biggest failure?
The relationship with James.

10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
No...

11. What was the best thing you bought?
Plane tickets to NSW, by far.

12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
Everyone who made noises and threw things at the Ballingers! Go us! :D

13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
No ones, really.

14. Where did most of your money go?
Petrol.
Phone credit.
Assorted plane and train tickets.
Miscellaneous crap that I didn't really need.

15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
The navy (didn't even end up happening, dammit).
Every trip away from the bay.
Jamie and I getting together (awwwwwwwww...).

Happier. It took awhile though...

b) thinner or fatter?
Fatter! Oh my God, all this travelling is NOT good for my weight. I've lived for Starbucks, HJs, gelati from the Gelatissimo, my grandparents cooking, Maccas' sausage and egg McMuffins... etc.etc.etc.

c) richer or poorer?
Richer, although not as rich as I could or should be.

18. What do you wish you'd done more of?
Travelling. I couldn't get enough of it this year.

19. What do you wish you'd done less of?
Wasting time.

20. How will you be spending Christmas?
With my family, wishing it were the next day so I can see James!

21. Did you fall in love in 2004?
Oh God yes.

22. How many one-night stands?
Absolutely none.

23. What was your favorite TV program?
The OC. I don't care what anyone says, it's cool. - totally agree with Razorwire here!

24. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
Nah, it's still just Wendy.

25. What was the best book you read?
The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown. It is FANTASTIC.

26. What was your greatest musical discovery?
Underneath by Hanson :D and probably Joss Stone too.

27. What did you want and get?
A year in which to do absolutely nothing and figure stuff out.

28. What did you want and not get?
The navy.

29. What was your favorite film of this year?
Of this year? So one that came out this year? Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban.

30. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
I hung out with Jamie and Vinney, and I was nineteen.

31. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
LOL! More money.

32. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2004?
Brown. Brown and black. With lots of denim and pluggers thrown in.

33. What kept you sane?
One word - Jamie.

34. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
Oh, have a freaking guess.

35. What political issue stirred you the most?
Um, probably the Family First party and their policies. Ooh, or John Howard ready to hand on over to Peter Costello.

36. Who did you miss?
James, who else? And Anika, and Steven, and Lyndall, and Warner...

37. Who was the best new person you met?
New people... didn't meet many this year. Probably Neil.

38. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2004:
The black hole can be conquered.
