Well, that was more exciting than it needed to be...
There I was, at home, sitting peacefully at my computer and doing customer support over the phone (as I so often do), when there was a loud crashing/rattling/...swishing...? noise from outside. After I got off the phone, I went to my front door to see if I could tell what it was.
Thankfully, no one was under it when it came down, and our maintenance guys were able to clear it away quickly. But, yeah. A bit more excitement than I was expecting on a Wednesday afternoon.
