Three good things
Thing 1: I went to the mall on Saturday and by the time all available discounts and coupons had been applied, I came home with a very nice long-sleeved shirt for $1.89 (originally $24).
Thing 2: I just got home from grocery shopping (milk, eggs, mushrooms, and a whackload of frozen dinners) and when I looked at the register receipt, it informed me that I had saved 58% ($48.something down to $20.something).
Thing 3: The avocado tree on-site has gifted me with two more of its offspring, one of which is just about ripe enough to eat.
