Originally uploaded by durandir. Progress continues on the Poppy sweater. I love the colors (but that was a given with anything purple and gold, right?)...The lower panel of the sweater is now about 25" wide...over halfway done with this part! When it reaches 43.5" wide then I'll join start to finish (it calls for binding off and seaming the cast on edge to the bound off edge, but instead I did a provisional cast on so that I can either graft the edges together or do a three-needle bind-off. I figure a visible seam will blend in pretty well with the purl ridges if I do the 3-needle...)
