A nice end to that post. Good luck with it all and stay true to yourself.
I always say that kids tend to be some of the last big life lessons that parents need to learn. They'll see that you can and will make it and can be happy and respectable, even if it doesn't fit directly into the mold that they had anticipated.
(And yeah, I am not on this thing much anymore either, but the nudge on FA reminded me that I should check in and see what was up)
