This Weekend was just great, and an ego booster also.
Friday night:
I headed over to the Costume Con keeping *dramatic pause* missunderstandings from happening between Scabrous the dragon and humans at the con. :) I was in my Renaissance fair gear being an agent of dragon affairs for her Majesty, under Torchwood. (Got to have a hook in the cons.) I had a blast and even had some ladies thrown my way from my buddy Scab. :)
Saturday:
I had a blast handling the Critter by the Bay characters at and after the Mountain View parade. It's really something to witness the magic that I see being created between the Critters and the kids and grownups alike.
Sunday was my day to play.
Sunday in the morning:
In the morning, I got to bring out Gamara. {How many people get to play a Japanese Toho Monster *BIG GIGGLY GRIN* }. The con went nuts with picture taking. :)
Heck, Barberilla even ask Gamara out.
Man, what is it with Turtles and their sex appeal ?
I guess I'm just going to have to ask
kinkyturtle one of these days ;)
I tell you one thing. That is one HOT and Hard to see out of costume I have ever worn. I also wouldn't have missed it for the world. :)
Sunday in the afternoon:
I finally got to bring out Noodles the dragon. At the end of the performance SIG at Costume Con 26, the costume fursuits had a little parade through the Con. (About 20 costumes in all). We were given an amazingly warm welcome. Of course Noodles was heading up the back of the parade at the speed of 1 Terraluna (not fast at all), while the rest of the parade was zipping along.
Well you know how Noodles believes in 'Equal Opportunity Bugging'. :)
After the wave of amazing costumes went by the con crowds, Noodles had a great time filling in the wake. He was warmly welcomed even if he was a little butthead. I also understand that
foofers kept Noodles from eating a girl dressed up as a fairy.
Well, ask any dragon. They'll all tell you that fairies are very tasty ;)
It really helped boost up my ego realizing I haven't lost that spark of magic, to make people smile and laugh, and to create that suspension of disbelieve everyone can enjoy.
I have been told by a few people in the furry fandom that Noodles as a costume is not all that good, but I sure have fun with him, and I think people around me do also.
Thanks Mr. Dinosaur (Dennis Lancaster) for letting me borrow Gamara, and Thank you the reader for coming and visiting.
