A hardy RAR to all you out there in LJ land.

On Feb 14th, I headed up with foofers to San Francisco, Chinese New Year Parade. At the celebration in China Town, there had to be at least a billion. There were so many people that if you passed out, I swear you wouldn’t hit the ground. It’s very nerving when swimming through a sea of people. Although I got to say, I love the exotic feel and smell of China Town. If you have never been there, and you are in the San Francisco Bay Area, take a tip, spend a day and visit it. You won’t be disappointed.

The parade is truly a San Francisco jewel that should be seen once in your life. The most fun I had, was the staging area of the parade. The staging area filled Market Street (One of the major arteries of the city) for a good 4 to 8 blocks. I had a GREAT time getting up close to these breath taking costumes, Lion Dancers, and [of course] Asian Dragons. :D

I got to hang out with some of my Asian Dragon Bro's and got a few dragon pointer on how to !!RAR!!. :D

It's something RARing down a major metropolitan street, with 100,000+ people cheering you on, expecting your favor. ;)

One of the dragons did tell me that he found it quit annoying when he kept getting distracted with that shiny pearl some guy was holding, while running away from him. He just want to gobble then up. :P

You got to love what comes out of buses on Market Street, in San Francisco. :)
