yesterday was a reminder that even if i can't change the situation i can change my own response. other than that, most of it was hellish. i'm still working on the being-in-the-moment (especially when the moment is quite unpleasant) thing.
also, i can now check my sister off the need-to-come-out-to list. thank you to pinkjoe for the ride offer ("queer/trans 101 : i'm not gonna come out to her in a moving vehicle!") and E. for keeping me from hyperventilating. all is good.
i love thrifting. i found a backpack (with a working zipper! better than what i had) for a dollar. and comfy sneakers that i can fit my grandpa orthodics into. if my body is this fucked up at nineteen, i'm not sure i want to know what it will be like when i'm *old*.
