my life is coming together

No that it wasn't pretty well put together before. But stuff for the future... is taking shape and I'm excited about it.

Some of the good stuff:

* Sally Sommer, the director of the FSU in NYC Program has been talking with the Assistant Director of the Baryshnikov Arts Center in New York for me to do my internship with them, and she thinks there's a very strong possibility this will work out. They have my resume and cover letter, so it should be settled soon.

* Stephanie, Michelle, Brittany and I are talking with two sisters in Brooklyn who will most likely be renting their house out to us for the Fall Semester.

* I found out today I got one of the Dickenson Scholarships through the Dance Department, which is $1500. This means that my tuition will be entirely covered by my scholarships through the department and FSU, and I probably won't have to take out any more loans than usual to cover living expenses.

* Eric is a finalist for a job on Long Island, at a community college about an hour away from the Brooklyn house, which would be amazing. We wouldn't be able to see each other every day, but probably most weekends, which would be fantastic, and of course, it would be a beyond perfect location for me after graduation.

* summerdance plans are going very well, and I'm really looking forward to getting started on new pieces.

* I just finished a solo for Comp class that I think I will include on the summerdance showcase. I'm hoping Eric will be able to collaborate with me, but we'll see : )

* There are just two weeks and one day left of classes, and 20 days until I'm in Montana!

The bad stuff:

* Really, not much. I haven't found a subletter. That's about it.

So life is good. I'm happy.
