Yeah... I saw postings about it a few days back and went to look and just thought, "WTF?????!?!?!" And tried to pick up my jaw from the floor.

Talk about people who don't have a clue and who are led about by something other than a brain!

I saw some great postings from women about it. Not the the outrage, but very well-thought out comments on the ramifications of it all.

Anyway... yeah, conventions can bring out this kind of thing. There are people there who don't have an adequate sense of boundaries and are poorly socialized... or who are outright damaged... And there are those who take advantage of it and lack all of the same things. It's sad.

And then there's the whole thing about women who tend to put up with stuff or go along because they want to be nice and friendly and accommodating... And those who feel that they should be open and sexually daring--through peer pressure or whatever... And those who have been victimized in the past and are susceptible to doing things that may be self-destructive or ill-advised... and those who have been victimized who would be re-victimized by this whole scenario. *sigh*

Anyway, the guy deserves the comments he's getting. And I think it's good that these issues are being passed about and discussed.
