Yes, I know, it's been a while! BUT, here are some pictures from Easter Egg Hunts at the kids' daycare. You'll have to pardon the mad photo-editing skills. I didn't want to post clear faces of all the other kids in M2's class!
We started the afternoon off hunting for eggs with T. This was so slow, and calm...The kids just walked around, scooping up eggs and putting them in their little bags. It was a good way to ease into the afternoon. T actually proved himself very good at this task once he figured out what he was supposed to do. We wound up sharing several eggs with his friends who weren't quite so focused.
And then we headed over to M2's class. They were warming up with a few rounds of "Freeze Dance." I have to say, the funniest thing I've seen in a while involves 20 preschoolers jumping up and down on a carpet, dancing and singing "Life is a highway!! I want to ride it all night long!!!"...and please take special note of the !!!'s. It's not the same without them.
M2, during a "freeze" when the music cut off. Cracks. Me. Up.
Then we did M2's egg hunt. One word for this: INSANITY.
The long and wordy version: Kids running everywhere! Eggs, everywhere! Screaming, laughing, yelling, crying (that was myyyyyyy egg!!!). 10 seconds of pure, crazy insanity.
And then it was over....and I threw the kids in the car and drove to GA!
